Years in the making, this session will always have a special place in my heart. Several years ago I had the idea to hold a session based on one of my favorite stories - Peter Pan. I found friends who were interested in modeling the roles, I worked out storyboards and poses, but it never came together. I was young and inexperienced at the time and what I envisioned I didn't have the skills to bring to life.
Fast forward to 2021, my friend and original Peter Pan model Susan told me that if I ever wanted to do this shoot she was still completely onboard. It was crazy in the moment because I had been thinking about it so much at the time and how much I loved the idea! I expressed to her that I was worried about putting in a ton of effort for it to not happen again. Her reply, "We will make sure it happens this time!"
And it did! Two of my three original models (Peter and Tinkerbell) were on board and we found the perfect model for my vision to fit Wendy. I am still in love with this session, even if my skills have developed even further already. I will always appreciate Susan for giving me that extra push, and all of my friends who loved my vision as much as I did.
